If you receive emails, which are not marked as spam, and you wish to stop receiving these emails; Or emails you want to receive are being marked as spam and you want them delivered no matter what, follow these steps:

If you are an administrator, you can apply these settings domain-wide:

  1. Log into Proofpoint as an administrator
  2. Under Security Settings click the down arrow next to email
  3. Click Sender Lists
  4. To block a sender
    • Single email address: Add the email address to the Blocked Sender List
    • Entire domain: Add *.domain.com to the Blocked Sender List (Replace domain.com with the domain you wish to block.
  5. To allow email delivery
    • Single email address: Add the email address to the Safe Sender List
    • Entire domain: Add *.domain.com to the Safe Sender List (Replace domain.com with the domain you wish to allow.

Individual users can apply these settings to their accountUser-specific:

  1. Log into Proofpoint as a user
  2. At the top-right o the page, click the profile icon
  3. Click the Sender Lists tab
  4. To block a sender
    • Single email address: Add the email address to the Blocked Sender List
    • Entire domain: Add *.domain.com to the Blocked Sender List (Replace domain.com with the domain you wish to block.
  5. To allow email delivery
    • Single email address: Add the email address to the Safe Sender List
